Leave it to the British to put together one of the most vocal, inebriated and ridiculous rails we’ve seen this summer.
A horde of British players including Chris Moorman, Jake Cody and Toby Lewis showed up to the Amazon Room today to cheer on U.K. products Roberto Romanello and Craig McCorkell at the final table of Event 36 $3,000 No-Limit Shootout.
Last year the British supporters put on quite a show as they drunkenly cheered Jake Cody to his first WSOP bracelet in the massive $25k Heads-Up tournament.
The Brits were so loud they almost got kicked out of the Rio completely.
Well they’re at it again in this tournament and they’ve recently taken to removing their shoes to cheer on their U.K. comrades.
Floorman Robbie Thompson, who’s trying to announce the action, has been drowned out completely with a series of merry chants and shouts from the rail.
We haven’t seen anyone actually get ejected from the Amazon Room yet, but if this keeps up we wouldn’t be surprised to see someone get the boot.
